How hard would it be to raise the off season roster limit to 75?
I think this would be beneficial because it would allow teams to take more players into training camp, which would mean that the FA pool would have better players available as the UDFAs that had the slightest potential would get to go through camp with the other rookies.
Having more UDFAs in training camp may turn up some more diamond in the rough players, which is always fun. For instance, I haven't seen an Adrian Foster or Tony Romo ever in this game.
The problem with this would be cap. The NFL only counts the cap as the 53 highest salaries on the team during camp/preseason. As a compromise, I would say allow teams to ignore the cap until the final cuts. At that point, teams would need to be under the cap by the start of the regular season. It would force a lot of teams to have good cap management and not go wild during FA.

This got bumped to the second page by about 20 posts by punisher, so I wasn't sure if there was just no interest in this or what. Pushing it back to the top of the forum to find out.
