I don't know if this has been discussed but I think it would be pretty cool to have a game preview between the teams.
Like Overall Offense ratings, Overall Defense Ratings, Special Teams ratins. The team that has the edge in one category gets a little star or something.
Then the rankings stats wise. Passing offense 270yards/game.... 8th in the league Rushing Defense 78 yards / game.. 4th best
The team with the most stars has the advantage for the game. This would bring a number of possibility for the future like :
Then you could add a formula that takes the team who has the most advantage in : Ratings/Stats and the Strenght of the Schedule and Wins/Losses. So that would give us the team with the odds. So you could add some gambling system (maybe not).
But at the end of the day, you would know what challenge your team will face this week end. Will give a little bit help on the scouting department. Will give a better understanding if your team is 3 and 4 but faced the top 3 teams and you lost only by 4 pts... maybe you're not that bad so you don,t have to change everything. Right now you lose a game but its hard to understand where you team is vs the rest of the league. What division is stronger ? and things like that
