Mid-Week Gameplanning

Does it make any difference to activate all your young players and place them at the top of their positions on the depth chart for the mid-week days? Will that help them to progress faster (think taking 1st player reps leading up to a game)?

No, midweek has no value to players. It's just a time to pick up or cut players as well as gameplan
