The USFL/WFL has two potential openings entering its fifth season. We want to fill two of the three teams below. I (the commissioner) will take the other. All teams are currently owned by the league, but that will change as soon as we find new ownership.
New York Stars: I am currently coaching this team. Took over a 1-15 team and went 10-6 and 12-4 with two division titles the last two seasons. Some holes to fill, but plenty of good young talent and extra draft picks from rebuilding. Salary cap situation is very good.
https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/team/30Washington Federals: The bad news: 15 wins in four seasons. The good news. Lots of high draft picks now maturing into star-caliber players. Salary cap situation is tight, but renegotiating some contracts could help a lot.
https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/team/26Philadelphia Bell: Definitely a rebuild after four losing seasons. But, like Washington, plenty of young players from high draft picks. Salary cap situation is very good. You can spend some of that money and turn this team around quickly.
https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/team/29Our league is committed to competitive balance. In the first four seasons, 26 of 32 teams have been in the playoffs at least once.
