I'm tired of the core logical and code problems with the game:
1) Speed is tied to weight so you benefit from making your players lighter. RBs will always run away from LBs of the same SP, so LBs are worthless defenders unless they are blitzing.
2) You can only win by playing M2M defenses (this is somehow worse in 0.4.1)
3) You can only stop the run by blitzing a lot (this is definitely worse in 0.4.1) [see #1 above]
4) There are only a handful of effective offensive plays
These problems have led to a situation where basically every game is the same. And, as much as we talk about game planning, there really can't be true game planning when everyone runs basically the same plays to win and the players that dominate are the ones that have the most time to trade, get lucky, or have the time to make the most micro level tweaks, but again with all of the same plays that everyone else runs.
