Resigning coaches

Hi All!! I've been playing this game for a while now and I still have a difficult time re-signing coaches. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Resign your good ones every FA w1. It keeps other teams from taking them, unless they outbid you on that sim.
As long as you offer a little more than their last contract, they should accept. I've offered as little as $100 more.
