Still if you just use the clock and see how far someone runs in a time frame the slower guys are a bit faster than the faster guys got. 100 speed stays the same.
So the faster you were the closer to that speed you became and the slower you were the faster you became from raising zero speed..
We used to get ranges as high as 9+ seconds and now that is a lower number. In doing so the effective of speed on a players weight has gotten slightly smaller as a by product. Also acceleration is more important as well but in the shorter ranges. Maybe it was 2.5 yards and now it’s 3.5 yards or something
Lock in some players weights at generation and have a few only move a 50-75 pounds or so. Really make tall players have a greater ability to gain weight while the opposite takes place for a shorter player. A shorter player can lose weight easily but it should much harder for them to gain.
The talent pool of speed would have less guys at the top... they’d all be too slow still but perhaps more balanced
