I ran a private fantasy football league with mostly coworkers for the better part of a decade. I had a really fun job with a lot of really cool coworkers in probably the best work environment I've ever witnessed. Every year, we held our draft in person at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. We would usually make an entire day out of it and watch sports while we got drunk, made horrible trades, and forgot who's turn it was to pick.
No one will ever convince me that is not the best way to play virtual sports or watch live games.
I live between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, so I've got a massive tailgating tradition at LSU Death Valley and Bourbon Street during a Saints game that I can attend, for free, anytime i choose. I'd still take a few friends, a bunch of big TVs, and hot wings with beer delivered to my table over anything else.
