I have a question........ You see we had a good three year run with the Phantoms.....but after last season's LC in the Elite League, my Head Coach and Defensive coordinator sailed off into the sunset of retirement. Well I just hired the best rated coaches I could find and didn't think much of it.....until this season.
I don't want to make too many excuses because we did win 3 titles in a row and that is difficult as well as most of my elite players are getting.......aged let's just say. That being said........my playbook.......several of my beautiful bread n butter plays that I had the last 4 season, on both offense and defense, are gone....not available for me to use anymore. The results are clear with an offense that used to score averages of 30+ points a game....now......it is more difficult to produce yards and points. What is worse is that my defense used to be better than my offense......now with several of those Defensive plays gone.....I am forced to use alternative plays....that do not work nearly as well with the players on my team. My opponents now find it easier to keep drives alive....march down field and score points.
I understand the plays that you have available are because of the HC and maybe the coordinators. Is there a way to keep some plays you had with your retired coach? Is there a way you can see available plays from a coach before hiring them? What is the best tactics on coach hiring. I want to fire my new head coach, but signed a 3 year deal. Is there a good way out of this?
