Coaches come and go and as such leagues come and go but where leagues exist with perhaps a dozen teams hanging in hope, could you merge leagues, or set up a new league and move teams over to fill it up.
There are quite a few leagues with 16-20 openings and we don't know if the remaining coaches are keen to play or whether they just haven't got around to walking away yet.
If the existing coaches are keen, is this idea remotely viable ?
Obviously there will be different ages of teams which may have an impact and one coach can still only have one team so it may be a non starter but just thought I would throw the idea out there. Could you set up a new league and rather than have an allocation draft, instead you transfer a team from a league that is stuck and dying.
