The title is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but I've noticed that QBs and DBs (and everyone else) seem to have significantly less impact on the passing game than do WRs, and wanted to see if others have experienced this as well.
Case in point:
http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/player/1080Look at his career stats. Not one season under 100 QB rating, from a QB rated in the 50s. I'd attribute this to his two excellent veteran WRs. On the flip side, I've noticed that amazing QBs rarely seem to 'elevate' the play of a mediocre WR corps, and frequently struggle without go-to targets. Meanwhile, 'elite' DB corps don't seem to do much to slow down high-powered pass attacks.
I don't know if this is maybe just my own confirmation bias, so I wanted to put it out to the rest of the community to see what everyone else thinks.
