Abandoning your team

There have been some cases where users have asked me to remove them from a league - usually because they overcommitted and are in too many leagues. I've added a button on your team page where you can do this for yourself, with a couple of caveats:

  • You will not get a credit refund even if you just joined the team.
  • You will not be able to join a team in that league for 30 days.

Two very fair stipulations.

Sounds fair.

got a question though is there a limit of many leagues people could abandon??

reason I am asking is if someone had like 10+ leagues they could leave each one at the same time which would probably screw up those leagues.

though it could never happen just thinking the worst here.

why have a limit? it would be better for a player to abandon them so a different player could pick them up immediately instead of being inactive in those leagues for 2 weeks in order for the AI to auto-drop them.

as far as the never happen, sure it could what do you think happens if a player decides to stop playing MFN and has 10+ leagues........ends up messing up games.....much better for someone to have the option to remove themselves if they don't feel they have the time for it anymore

They would be leaving only one team in that league.

Say you decided to leave all your teams, you are only going to open up one in each of mine.

Love this as I have too many teams now that sim on the same day. Just as a suggestion, could you put some kind of coloured dot (or something) to indicate the 2 different sim days, it would help people NOT get into the same situation I reckon.
