I just rolled out a new feature - RENAMING PLAYERS! Yes, you can now rename the players on your roster, with a few rules:
1) You can only rename a player during the offseason, and they must be a rookie on your team (Early free agency through Training Camp. Once games have been played, the names are locked for the life of the player).
2) Renaming a player will cost one game credit. You must have a minimum of 6 game credits to rename a player. In other words, you can't rename a player without actually purchasing credits.
3) You may not rename a player to a name that already has been applied to another player. Once a name has been used in the league (including names generated by the game engine), it cannot be used again.
4) You must use names that exist in the database. This shouldn't be a problem, the database was built from US Census data, so there are tons of available names. If you have a valid name that is not in the database, send me a PM and if I agree I'll add it.
